about me

I'm passionate about the a11y community and using tech to bring people together. I love using my expertise on accessibility and beautiful design to improve the experience of the web for all users. I take the ego out of my work, bring positivity, and believe in leading by example through building my collaborators and teammates up together.

At the moment I'm located in Colorado, though I’m an avid traveler and have spent many moons doing the "digital nomad" thing. I also love motorcycles, yoga, and reading. If you’re nosy like me, or curious to hear more, take a peek at what I’m up to now.

I’m currently looking for my next full-time remote role, so please peruse my site, my resume, and get in touch!

My Epic App

2021 - 2023

A completely new design and rebuild of the Vail Ski Resort’s My Epic mobile application. In tandem with Vail’s data and infrastructure, we introduced a new and innovative way for skiers to interact with over 30+ ski resorts and manage their Epic pass. My primary focus was on developing the SVG map, including custom styling and animated interactions, as well the development of trails and lifts pages and data, and ensuring clean user experience throughout.

Vidanta World

2023

A new website for Vidanta World Resorts in Mexico. I was a part of the core development team that initially built out all of the content models through Contentstack and developed the components this custom data would be piped into. These models were mapped to reusable pages so content managers could change the copy, images, and order of components with complete freedom, while keeping the integrity of the designs across the site.

ACR

2021 - 2022

A full redesign and rebuild for the American College of Rheumatology. Leveraging Contentstack, we developed a suite of reusable page templates and content models and using GraphQL we automated the creation of dynamic pages. This allowed ACR to easily manage their content to better support doctors and clients with any number of condition pages and resources. The project began with a development team of five and gradually streamlined until I took over as the sole developer interacting with the client.

Idea Builder

2019-2020

A platform for Merrill Lynch to help investors find stocks, ETFs, and Mutual Funds to invest in that align with their personal beliefs and value systems. I was a part of the team that developed this platform from initial design, creating a whole new design-system and component library. I was especially focused on the project meeting WCAG 2.1 AAA standards and building out charts and data visualizations.
